The course focuses on the skills and knowledge needed for directors to make professional decisions concerning how to comprehensively approach a film project as well as working with the minutiae of a singular scene. In addition, students will learn to work with actors to get the best performances from them. The course will offer hands-on opportunities for the students to practice analyzing, blocking, and directing a small scene.Prerequisite: COMM 1803* Do not register for this course if you have taken DCOM 3253
