Description
This course is designed to prepare students to utilize clinical assessment tools and case conceptualization skills to develop comprehensive treatment plans based upon current evidenced-based interventions for various mental disorders. The most recent edition of the Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders is used in practice, and attention is given to the mental status exam, risk assessment, multicultural issues, and other clinical information relevant to diagnosis and treatment planning.Prerequisites: PCOU 5083
