Description
In this course, students will be placed in a K-12 setting in area schools to complete tasks that are directly tied to the Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (FEAPs). This experience is designed to allow students multiple opportunities to observe the K-12 setting (approximately 30 hours) and participate in low-level classroom tasks. The College of Education will work cooperatively with area schools to place students in classrooms according to the students’ major/grade level preference. As part of the course requirements, students must pass the General Knowledge Test (GKT) and provide documentation to the College of Education before the end of the course.Prerequisite: None
